Fire tears through Ocala printing business

OCALA, Fla. — A fire tore through an Ocala building Monday morning.

Firefighters worked to put out the flames at a screen-printing business along Southwest 7th Street.

Officials said the owner of the shop was not there when the fire started around 7:45 a.m. Monday.

The owner said the printing equipment was destroyed.

The rest of the building, which is owned by Ocala Sports, has extensive smoke damage.

Fire officials said they are working to find out what started the blaze.
