The layoffs are due to the April 23 end of a contract with Volusia County government, according to a Feb. 23 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state.

The Sterling, Virginia-based company was providing inmate medical services on behalf of the county at its correctional facilities, with the subcontractor providing the labor.
