FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Two Flagler County beachfront parks will close or have limited access during the 2026 Constellation Furyk and Friends golf tournament.
The closures will begin Monday, Oct. 5, and continue through Tuesday, Oct. 13. County officials are also warning drivers to expect heavy traffic near Hammock Beach Golf Resort and Spa throughout the event.
Old Salt Road Beach Park at 200 16th Road will close completely. The county will also close 16th Road east of Hammock Dunes Parkway.
MalaCompra Park at 115 MalaCompra Road will remain partially open. The horse trailer parking lot, horse and walking trails, and horse and pedestrian beach access will close. North MalaCompra will remain open.
Signs will be posted at both locations. The county recommends using one of these alternative beach access points:
- Varn Park, 3665 N. Oceanshore Boulevard
- Bay Drive Park, 30 Bay Drive
- River to Sea Preserve, 9805 Oceanshore Boulevard
The PGA Tour Champions tournament will run from Friday, Oct. 9, through Sunday, Oct. 11, on the Ocean Course at Hammock Beach Golf Resort and Spa.
The weekend will also include food, football activities and live music. Country singer Billy Currington will perform Friday evening during the Furyk Foundation Concert.
