FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Flagler County Tax Collector Shelly Edmonson has been sworn in as the District 5 director of the Florida Tax Collectors Association.
Edmonson took the oath of office earlier this month during the association’s 2026 Annual Education Conference. The statewide leadership role allows her to represent District 5 and work with tax collectors across Florida on issues affecting constitutional tax collector offices.
The Florida Tax Collectors Association focuses on education, professional development, collaboration and service delivery for residents statewide.
Edmonson said she plans to focus on state-level advocacy and sharing ideas with tax collectors in other counties.
“I am truly honored to serve as District 5 director and to represent our district within the Florida Tax Collectors Association,” Edmonson said. “Florida’s tax collectors play an important role in providing essential services to our residents.”
Edmonson said her office’s priority remains serving Flagler County residents. The Flagler County Tax Collector’s Office provides state and local services through locations in Bunnell, Palm Coast and Flagler Beach.
