FLORIDA — Florida's prohibition-era law restricting the sale of half-gallon beer containers known as growlers could soon be rewritten.
The Senate Community Affairs Committee discussed a bill Tuesday that would allow craft brewers to sell 64-ounce growlers of beer.
On March, 9 Investigates exposed the millions of dollars spent by major beer distributors and brewers to stop the legislation.
So far, the bill has not been set for a floor vote.
