ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida reported an additional 4,426 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.
The new cases bring the total number in the state since the pandemic began to 1,952,733.

The latest cases included 803 cases in Central Florida.
Tuesday marks the fourth day in a row that the state has reported fewer than 5,000 new cases.

The state also reported 132 deaths on Tuesday. That brings the state’s total virus-related death toll to 32,481.
The increases come as Florida continues to increase vaccination efforts across the state.

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday that CVS will expand COVID-19 vaccinations to 76 additional locations across Florida.
Orange, Osceola, Marion, Polk, Seminole and Volusia counties are also on the list to add CVS locations.
Floridians can start booking these new appointments on Thursday for shots that will be given on Friday.

The additional stores bring the total to 150 CVS pharmacies in 30 counties that are administrating the COVID-19 vaccine.
Earlier this week, DeSantis said he would lower the age eligibility from 65 to 60-years-old beginning March 15.
