Florida reports more than 15K new COVID-19 cases, 110 virus-related deaths on Saturday According to state records, 1,713,589 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Florida since the start of the pandemic.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health reported 15,019 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.

This is less than the 10,976 cases on Friday and 11,423 reported Thursday.

Of the new cases reported Saturday, 3,235 were in Central Florida. Orange County reported the most cases with 942.

According to state records, 1,713,589 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Florida since the start of the pandemic.

State health officials also reported 110 new virus-related deaths on Saturday, including four people who were not Florida residents.

Of the new deaths reported, 24 were in Central Florida. Brevard County reported 11 new virus-related deaths since Friday.
