Florida warns residents about scammers using Google Voice to steal money

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody wants residents to be aware of a rip-off involving Google Voice.

Scammers are targeting users who post in online marketplaces, posing as buyers.

They are trying to get verification codes to set up a Google Voice account in your name.
