LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — WFTV was there as the man accused of sexually abusing at least two children at a Lake County day care turned himself in to authorities on Friday.
On Thursday, the Department of Children and Families closed Pat's Kidz World Development Center in Eustis because the owner didn't report the allegations against 40-year-old Kenneth Hagins.
Investigators are still working to figure out whether Hagins has any more victims.
And he didn't have anything to say as he was put into handcuffs and then walked into the Lake County Jail around 7 p.m.
"Did you molest those kids?" WFTV asked.
Hagins did not reply.
DCF stepped in after allegations that at least two children, including a 4-year-old boy, were abused by Hagins.
But the investigation doesn't stop there.
Hagins, who is also a youth pastor at the Promise Land Church in Eustis, is also accused of sexually molesting an 18-year-old mentally disabled client at Sunrise Arc in Lake County.
He's been placed on leave at that business.
As he was led off tonight, Hagins only spoke once, to his father.
"I'm all right. I love you," he said.
Hagins is being held on $200,000 bail.
There's still no word on when or if the day care will be reopened.
