Get ready for the heat: Temps climb into the 90s in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — Get ready for the heat. It’s going to be another warm day in Central Florida.

Temperatures will climb to 93 degrees in Orlando.

We will have a 20% chance of storms on Thursday.

On Friday, temperatures will be near 90 degrees.

There will be a front just north of us that will bring in more showers and storms on Friday. There’s a 50% chance of rain.

It will be a classic, summer weekend for the holiday weekend.

Temperatures will be near 90 degrees, with a 40% chance of scattered afternoon storms.

The tropics remain quiet. Hurricane season starts in less than a week.

The air quality remains unhealthy for sensitive groups thanks to Saharan dust. The dust will continue to lessen gradually.
