MARION COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: Marion County deputies said Richard Mazza was found safe in Sanford.

A silver alert was issued for a Marion County man early Tuesday.

Marion County deputies said Richard Mazza was last seen leaving his home at 9689 SE 163rd Street in Summerfield around 10 a.m. Monday.

Deputies said he was traveling to a Kia dealership in Ocala to have his car serviced.

Mazza was driving his grey Kia Soul, with license plate 917PTC.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey shirt.

Mazza has medical conditions that require medication which he does not have with him.
