Local developer scoops up Winter Garden site; here’s what’s planned

A busy local retail developer has acquired a 5.5-acre site in the popular westside suburb it is headquartered in.

Orange County records show Winter Garden-based WMG Development paid $4.1 million on Sept. 8 for the site, located at the northwest corner of Avalon Road and Marsh Road/Stoneybrook West Parkway.

The seller was Orlando-based CJT Groves LLP.
