Man accused of crashing into, robbing convenience stores arrested

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County investigators arrested a man they said crashed a stolen car into two convenience stores to steal lottery tickets and beer.

Anthony Langford was arrested at the Florida Mall after he tried to escape from deputies.

According to detectives, the Sunoco gas station at the corner of Orange and Nela Avenues is one of the two stores Langford drove into early Tuesday morning.

The owner of the store said the cost of repairs to the store far outweighs the value of the stolen items.

The owner said he took over the store less than a month ago.
