ORLANDO, Fla. — A man was arrested Thursday on accusations that he followed young girls and videotaped them up their skirts.
Orlando police arrested and charged Scott Wesley Irwin, 27, for video voyeurism at the Publix on Meeting Place in Orlando.
Police said on two separate occasions in February, a customer at the store observed Irwin place his cellphone inside a hand basket and video record under the skirt or shorts of young girls between the ages of 5 and 13 years old.
Police said three girls, one maybe as young as 5 years old, fell victim to Irwin.
A customer reported the incident to management and police, according to authorities.
Police used video footage from the store to identify Irwin, who was subsequently positively identified by the customer.
Police said this is a great example of “if you see something, say something."
Irwin posted bail and was released from jail Thursday afternoon.
He had no comment when Channel 9 asked him about the allegations.
Police ask that any other potential victims come forward.
