Man barricades self in home as deputies serve warrant, sheriff's office says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A tense standoff in Taft is over, deputies said. Deputies arrived at a home there Tuesday to serve a warrant and a man barricaded himself inside, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies said they went to the home on the 200 block of 2nd Street in Taft at about 2 a.m. Tuesday and a woman walked out of the home.

Raymond Sanchez Vobletch, who was the subject of the warrant, barricaded himself inside, deputies said.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office SWAT team was called to the scene.

“The first home, he either lived there or knew someone who lived there,” said Jeff Williamson of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “He tried coming out of the back window the residences. Deputies saw him, he went back inside and that’s when he barricaded himself.”

It took tear gad to get Vobletch out of the home. He was wanted for violating his probation.
