Man found shot to death in DeLand home

DELAND, Fla. — A man was shot and killed in his DeLand home late Thursday night, police said.

DeLand police said they received a call at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday about an alarm going off at a home on S. Stone Street. The caller also said four men were seen running through his back yard, police said.

When authorities arrived, they found the man's body.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

The name of the man was not released.
