ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The man suspected of murdering his grandfather and local boxing icon, Lucious Harris, will not be getting out of jail before his trial, a judge ruled Friday.
Lucien Harris was denied bond in the case. Orange County deputies say Harris shot 74-year-old Lucious Harris to death during an argument.

Attorneys say Lucien Harris could have should shot his grandfather in self defense after his grandfather attacked him, but prosecutors say evidence doesn’t show there was a fight.
Lucien Harris is expected to go to trial at the end of January.
