ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are looking for a man who they said slapped a Publix grocery bagger on the face.
A picture of the man was released Wednesday.
According to an Orange County Sheriff's Office report, the man slapped an 18-year-old bagger working at the Publix supermarket on Dr. Phillips Boulevard.
The report stated that the bagger was walking into the store when he spit on the ground. Deputies said the man then asked the bagger if he was trying to spit on him, and when the bagger responded "no," the man slapped him on the face.
The report stated the employee did not suffer any injuries.
According to investigators, the man left the parking lot on foot just before a Publix employee called deputies.
A Publix manager said he was unable to comment.
