MARION COUNTY, Fla — Marion County Deputies (MCSCO) are searching for Jacob Evans, 13, who has not been seen since Saturday.
Deputies responded to the home on NE 125th Terrace Road in Silver Springs to assist the Department of Children and Families (DCF) after DCF investigators said they were refused access to the child, Jacob Evans, while investigating a complaint.
DCF left and obtained a court order to take custody of Jacob. When DCF and deputies showed up to the home on Sunday, the mother, Jennifer Marie Evans, and her son, Jacob, were not home and have not been found.
Investigators said Jennifer has refused to answer her phone. Investigators have listed Jacob as missing/endangered.
