Death investigation underway in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County deputies are conducting a death investigation.

At about 4:45 p.m. Sunday, deputies said they responded to the report of a death at 3380 NW 63rd Avenue.

Deputies said they found Judy Mielenz dead inside of the home.

Investigators said they have determined the death was a homicide.

Detectives said they believe there is no threat to the community.
