OCALA, Fla. — Ocala Police are asking for the public’s help finding the driver involved in a deadly hit and run crash on Saturday night.
According to police, at 10:45 p.m. a 45-year-old black male was struck and killed on the 1000 block of South US Highway 441.

Police said the man was walking in the outside lane when he was struck by a white Toyota Camry.
The victim was dragged beneath the car and and became dislodged in the 500 block of SW 1st Avenue.

According to police, the car didn’t stop and was later located at the interseection of SE Broadway Street and SE Tuscawilla Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was not located at the scene.
The victim was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
