Silver Alert canceled after Ocala man found safe

OCALA, Fla. — UPDATE: A Silver Alert was canceled for Thomas Tutton, officials said. He was found safe.

A Silver Alert was issued for an 86-year-old man with dementia in Marion County, deputies said.

The Sheriff’s Office said Thomas Tutton vanished Saturday morning.

Investigators said Tutton left his Ocala home, which is west of Interstate 75.

Deputies said Tutton could be driving a 2016 red Ford Edge.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
