OCALA, Fla. — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a collision with a white station wagon in Ocala, Ocala Fire Rescue said.
Firefighters responded to the crash at the intersection of NE 20th Street and First Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m. Saturday, finding the motorcycle in the road and the station wagon at the base of a power pole.
The station wagon hit and broken the power pole in half, firefighters said.
EMS officials transported the motorcyclist as a trauma alert to a nearby hospital, firefighters said.
Firefighters said the driver of the white station wagon was uninjured.
