VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News first reported on Monday that Prestige Worldwide Moving, a South Florida moving company, had not shown up to an Ormond Beach family’s home with their belongings. Julio Quajuia told Channel 9’s Jeff Levkulich the company was supposed to arrive last Thursday or Friday, but days later, they haven’t shown up.
The homeowners have been living in a hotel.
Seven complaints have been filed with the Florida State Attorney General’s office against the Prestige Company.
Many of the complaints were similar to what Quajuia described to Eyewitness News.
Quajuia said on Tuesday that the company called to say they were on its way. As of Tuesday evening, the company had not arrived.
