New development planned near Disney Flamingo Crossings

Windermere-based developer NGI Investments has plans for a new, estimated $50 million-plus hotel and retail complex near Walt Disney World’s (NYSE: DIS) Flamingo Crossings.

The firm filed plans with Orange County on May 3 for a 200-room hotel with about 14,400 square feet of retail space including a Burger King.

Plans, which show a project name of Flamingo Village Shops, reveal the project will be built on 6.68 acres at 13324 Flamingo Crossings Blvd. in Winter Garden.
