A relatively new extended-stay hotel brand from one of the largest hotel chains in the world has entered the development pipeline near the University of Central Florida.

Plans filed April 4 in Orange County seek preliminary review to build a 114-room Everhome Suites, a midscale extended stay brand from Rockville, Maryland-based Choice Hotels International Inc.
A spokesperson for Choice Hotels confirmed the preliminary plans to Orlando Business Journal, explaining the hotel that would potentially be built on 4 acres on Challenger Parkway, directly southwest of its intersection with Ingenuity Drive, would be part of a master development agreement struck last year with Colorado-based ServiceStar Capital Management.
