FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — The National Weather Service placed northern Flagler County under a flood warning that expired at 1:15 p.m., but a flood watch remains in effect until 8 p.m.
Heavy rainfall since Friday caused isolated flooding in Palm Coast and the western portions of the county.
Deep moisture spread across the region ahead of developing low pressure.
Showers and thunderstorms brought heavy rainfall that led to localized flooding.
Between Friday and Saturday, there have been reports of up to 12 inches of rain.
County officials are still assessing the damage, but so far there have been reports of six structures receiving minor damage.
Residents in Flagler County are urged to use caution while traveling.
Palm Coast city officials are offering free sandbags and a sand station at the Public Works yard on Wellfield Grade.
Flager Emergency Management issued a message to residents to avoid flood areas and limit their use of waste water.
