ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman was found dead at an Orlando Econo Lodge near the Florida Mall Saturday morning, Orange County sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies identified the woman as Amanda Caruthers, 32, from Oregon.
Deputies found the Caruther’s body shortly after 11:10 a.m. at the Econo Lodge at 8700 South Orange Blossom Trail.
She died as a result of a homicide, deputies said, although they are not yet releasing the manner in which the she died.
Deputies are seeking leads in this case.
