MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Marion County deputies hope drivers will slow down after seeing a video of a nearly tragic accident.

Body camera video shows deputies giving paperwork to a tow-truck driver when all of a sudden, a truck speeds past them, nearly hitting their vehicles.

Deputies said they tried to stop the driver, but he sped off again.
Eventually, the driver pulled into a driveway and surrendered, officials said.

Deputies said they smelled alcohol when they approached Ryan Russell Wilkins.
Wilkins is facing several charges including DUI.
