Orange County, UCF & Rosen Hotels set to honor I-Drive staff that completed ESOL classes

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Earlier this year Orange County, Rosen Hotels, and the University of Central Florida started a new pilot program to help hospitality workers strengthen their talents.

The English for Speakers of Other Languages pilot program or EPIC offered language instruction in the I-Drive corridor for those workers looking to excel in the hospitality industry in the tourism hub of Orange County.

Students from different countries received the opportunity to learn English to advance their careers.

The partnership means people no longer have to choose between learning and making a living.

On Tuesday, June 6, the program will honor over 100 students that have completed the program.

The event will be held at 9 a.m. at The Rosen Centre Hotel.
