1 person displaced; cat and dog killed after mobile trailer fire in Orlando, firefighters say

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando firefighters are investigating after a trailer fire broke out Sunday morning.

The fire started around 10:30 a.m. at Orange Avenue Park on South Orange Avenue near West Illiana Street.

Firefighters were able to put out the flames but said the home is a total loss.

Officials said a dog and cat were killed in the fire.

The Red Cross has responded to help the person displaced by the fire.

Firefighters said no other homes were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
