At 4:30 p.m., Orange County leaders to honor National Guard during COVID-19 update

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County leaders plan to hold a COVID-19 update Friday afternoon.

The meeting is set for 4:30 p.m. and will be led by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.

Dr. Raul Pino, health officer with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County will speak along with Demings.

Representatives from the National Guard will also attend the news conference and be recognized for their efforts in supporting the Orange County Convention Center testing site.

Channel 9 will be in attendance and offer live coverage on Eyewitness News starting at 4 p.m.
