All four federally-supported COVID-19 vaccine sites in Florida to remain open for another month

ORLANDO, Fla. — All four federally-supported COVID-19 vaccine sites in Florida will remain open for an additional month, the Florida Department of Health announced Monday.

The sites were set to close on April 28 but will now be open until May 26.

Here are the locations:

  • Tampa Greyhound Track, 755 E. Waters Ave., Tampa, FL 33604
  • Valencia College – West Campus, 1800 S. Kirkman Road, Orlando, FL 32811
  • Gateway Mall, 5200 Norwood Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32208
  • Miami Dade Community College – North Campus, 11380 NW 27th, Miami, FL 33167

Each location will be able to administer 3,000 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine per day.

None of the sites require an appointment and walk ups are welcome.

The state is currently allowing anyone 40 and older to get the shot. Starting April 5, everyone 16 and older will be eligible.
