ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One man is dead after Orange County deputies say gunfire broke out following a large fight in a parking lot off of West Colonial Drive.

Deputies said they responded to a parking lot near 6200 W. Colonial Drive at 4:18 a.m. Monday and found a man in his 20s who had been shot.

Investigators said the man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.

Deputies said there was a large fight in the parking lot, followed by gunfire.

Deputies said they believe they’ve made contact with the other person involved in the gunfight.
