ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are investigating after a woman in her 20s was shot during a dispute at a home in Pine Hills.

Deputies said the shooting happened just before midnight Monday near the intersection of Alecon Drive and Burgundy Lane.

Investigators said a woman in her 20s went to the home of a man in his 30s and a dispute ensued.

They said the man shot the woman at least once during the dispute.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and no other details were available.
