ORLANDO, Fla. — The Doctor Phillips Center for the Performing Arts announced a special performance to support Ukraine.
The venue released a sneak peek of the performance by the National Ballet of Ukraine.
“We have all been overwhelmed by the total disregard for humanity as the humanitarian crisis continues to unfold in an unjustified war in Ukraine,” said Marc McMurrin, president and CEO of the Ginsburg Family Foundation.
It’s the group’s first show in the U.S. since 2018.
“We are beyond grateful to the Orlando community for hosting us and kicking off our first U.S. tour in several years,” said Olena Filipieva, the artistic director for National Ballet of Ukraine.
All proceeds are going to organizations that are helping Ukrainian citizens, refugees and veterans.
The show is scheduled for Aug. 27.
