‘Help us bring Miya home’: Investigators continue to search for missing 19-year-old in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are searching for a woman who hasn’t been seen since Friday.

Investigators are searching for 19-year-old Miya Marcano, who was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday at the Arden Villas apartments on Arden Villas Boulevard, near the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

On Sunday, deputies began searching the wooded area behind Marcano’s apartment building.

According to deputies, Marcano is 4 feet 9 inches tall and about 130 pounds.

Investigators say Marcano lives on the complex, and the apartment’s social media shows she also works at the leasing office.

Family and friends held a vigil for Marcano on Sunday night.

“All we ask is to help us bring Miya home. Bring her home safe,” a woman said.

Deputies said they can’t release any details at this time, but they’re working diligently to find her.
