1,400 Orlando Health workers receive COVID-19 vaccines

ORLANDO, Fla. — As we wait for a decision on Moderna from the FDA, more hospitals are getting their workers vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine that arrived this week in Florida.

Orlando Health was not one of the hospitals on the list to receive the first shipments of the Pfizer vaccine.

However, hospitals like AdventHealth that did receive Pfizer’s vaccine gave some to other hospitals.

About 1,400 frontline workers were vaccinated by noon at Orlando Health. Shots will continue through the evening.
