Orlando Health says 90% of its doctors have received COVID-19 vaccine

ORLANDO, Fla. — AdventHealth is still working to get local healthcare workers vaccinated.

AdventHealth and Orange County are teaming up to vaccinate about 3,000 healthcare workers with direct patient contact no matter their age or where they work on Saturday.

“We’re asking them to bring their driver’s license or some government issued ID with their name on it,” Dr. Scott Brady, with AdventHealth, said. “Then something that indicates that they are a healthcare employee with patient contact, such as their badge or such as a license.”

So far, Orlando Health said 75% of its nurses took the vaccine as well as 90% of its doctors.

AdventHealth has not confirmed its numbers yet.
