LAS VEGAS — A 17-year-old boy was arrested late Monday in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old Orlando girl, the Orlando Police Department said.
Investigators said the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Anthony “Ant” Barnes at about 11 p.m. Monday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Police said Barnes is the second person to be arrested in the May 2 shooting death of Tavyiah King near a Wawa at Silver Star Road and North John Young Parkway. Click here to read about the first arrest.

Barnes was booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.

Investigators said he has been charged with felony murder and attempted murder and will be extradited to Orange County.
They said detectives continue to follow several leads on outstanding suspects.
