Police search for driver who vandalized Black Lives Matter mural in downtown Orlando

Orlando police said they are searching for a driver who they believe vandalized a Black Lives Matter mural overnight.

Police said the mural was vandalized at about 1:44 a.m. on Rosalind.

When officers arrived, they noticed large circular skid-mark patterns on top of the mural.

Officers said the suspect vehicle is a newer model white Dodge Charger with dark tint windows and a sunroof.

Rosalind Avenue at Washington Avenue was closed for several hours during repairs to the Black Lives Matter mural.

Police said parts of the mural have been pressure washed and repainted.

Several officers provided extra patrol until all repairs were completed.
