UPDATE: SR-417 southbound reopens after crash near Florida’s Turnpike

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A crash has southbound lanes of State Route 417 shut down early Friday.

7:30 a.m.

Florida Department of Transportation cameras show SR-417 southbound has reopened and traffic is moving in the area.

A crash has part of a major roadway shut in Orlando County on Friday.

The crash happened on State Route 417 near exit 12 to Florida’s Turnpike.

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the crash has all southbound lanes shut down.

The crash happened around 6:20 a.m., records show.

Traffic on the highway is backed up to exit 14 to Landstar Boulevard.
