Orange County deputies responded to the Advenir at Polos East apartments on Woodbury Road at around 1:45 p.m. for a man who was “displaying hostile, erratic behavior.”

911 callers said the man was naked and looking inside vehicles in the parking lot.

When deputies arrived, they made contact with Arthur Creese walking around a building, and recognized him from previous incident at the complex.

Deputies said Creese had previously attacked a woman walking through the parking lot and said while chocking her that “I’m going to get the devil out of you.”

Deputies said they had previously made contact with Creese at an apartment in the same building.

Deputies placed Creese in custody and believed he was on drugs and “suffering from mental illness.”

The leasing office at the apartments said Creese was living in the apartment without approval and did not have a lease.

Deputies checked on the apartment where a woman was listed on the lease, and found blood on the door, according to a report.

After entering the apartment, they found Turquoise Samuel dead and partially dismembered under a sheet in the living room.

Deputies said residents living near the apartment heard a woman screaming early in the day, but none of them call 911.
