Two residents displaced by Richmond Heights house fire

The sudden blaze in the Richmond Heights neighborhood resulted in two adults being displaced from their home

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando fire crews provided an update regarding the Richmond Heights area on Tuesday morning.

One patient was transported to ORMC for smoke inhalation after being outside the home before the first responders arrived. Two adults were displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

OFD will remain on scene for Fire Watch. Channel 9 will continue to provide updates as they come in.

Firefighters extinguish structure fire on La Due Court in Richmond Heights

Orlando firefighters extinguished the main part of a structure fire on La Due Court in the Richmond Heights area on Tuesday morning, as per the Orlando Fire Department.

Crews arrived at La Due Court shortly after 9:20 a.m., and soon after, the main part of the fire was extinguished.

Multiple Orlando Fire Department units responded, along with police and air support. Information about injuries, the extent of damage and the fire’s cause was not immediately available.
