As a pastor at God Is Able Outreach and community activist, Stovall has dedicated himself to curbing gun violence in Orange County.

Officials have not released a motive in the shooting, but the witness and Lee’s relatives said they believe she was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was not the intended target.

“That wasn’t right, that wasn’t for her, and they just need to come forward, and that wasn’t right how they did my friend,” said her friend Brittaney Marshall.
