Orange and Seminole counties are adding COVID-19 testing sites as both counties have seen a surge in cases in recent days.
According to the Florida Department of Health, Seminole County added 100 new coronavirus cases Friday while Orange County added 316 cases.

Seminole County
Seminole County will offer five days of pop-up community testing next week. People looking to be tested don’t have to have symptoms, but they must bring identification.
Officials said the testing is free regardless of insurance status, but people with insurance should bring their insurance cards.
The testing is available for ages 18 and up.

Thursday, June 25:

Florida Department of Health in Seminole will also offer COVID-19 curbside testing on Thursday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 400 W. Airport Blvd. in Sanford. There is no age requirement for testing at this site, but a parent/guardian must be present for children to be tested. Test results are expected five to seven days after the specimen is collected. There is no co-pay or cost for testing regardless of insurance status. Appointments are required; call 407-665-3000 to make an appointment.

Orange County
Regional drive-thru testing site at the Orange County Convention Center: Testing is available on a first-come, first-served basis until the daily limit is reached. No appointments are necessary. Testing opens daily at 9 a.m. and is available for all Central Florida residents and visitors free of charge.

Drive-thru testing is also available for those exhibiting symptoms of the virus, as well as all healthcare providers and first responders in the Orlando community. Testing is available in the Walmart parking lot on 5991 Goldenrod Road Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. by appointment only. Click here to make an appointment.
Orlando
The city of Orlando is offering free pop-up testing for city residents at different locations in the city every Wednesday. The next testing site will be Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Northwest Community Center.
