TORONTO, CA. — The Orlando Magic lost to the Toronto Raptors 129-99 Wednesday evening in Toronto.

The Magic led by as many as nine points in the first quarter, with Anthony Black leading the way with six points, starting in place of Jalen Suggs, who is out with a knee injury.

The Raptors ended the first on a 13-4 run, led by RJ Barrett’s 12 points in the quarter, finishing the period up 32-25

The Raptors never looked back; the closest the Magic came after the first quarter was at 6:07 in the second, when they trailed 45-42.

The Magic struggled to hit threes as much as they struggled to defend the three-point line. The Magic shot 28.6% (10-35) from three while the Raptors shot 42.9% (15-35).

The Raptors had two players score 25 or more tonight, with Barrett scoring 28 and Scottie Barnes scoring 25.

Tristan Da Silva led the Magic with 20 points.

The Magic play the Raptors again in Toronto on Friday for their first game in the NBA Cup.
