ORLANDO, Fla. — More than 2,500 active and retired military personnel and their families will attend Monday night’s Orlando Magic game through the team’s annual Seats for Soldiers celebration.
The Magic host the Washington Wizards at Kia Center, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The event is part of the Magic’s lineup of 20 theme and unity nights for the 2026-27 season.
The Magic and L3Harris Technologies are teaming up for the celebration for the 23rd consecutive season. Tickets were provided by the team, L3Harris and season ticket holders who donated their seats.
Supporting wounded veterans
The Magic said $5 from each ticket purchased for Monday’s game will be donated to Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit that builds specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
Fans can also add a donation to their purchases at Magic Authentics team shops.
L3Harris has supported Homes for Our Troops for more than a decade, contributing more than $2.5 million to the wounded veteran community, according to the release. That includes a recent $100,000 contribution to help wounded veterans and their families.
Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. will host veterans from the Orlando VA in a suite, providing a meal and Magic gear. L3Harris will host veterans in two additional suites.

Marine veteran and Purple Heart recipient Ronald Horton Jr. will be recognized at halftime as the game’s guest of honor. Horton served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
