ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando VA Healthcare System announced it is holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 17.

The clinic will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Lake Nona Campus.

While walk-ins will be allowed, organizers encourage those wishing to get the vaccine to preregister here.

The following groups are eligible for either the Pfizer or Janssen vaccine at no cost.

•All veterans, regardless of character of discharge.

•Spouses and surviving spouses of veterans

•Caregivers of veterans.

•Recipients of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs (CHAMPVA) benefits.

Those who are not veterans eligible for care at the VA are required to register.
