The Orlando Utilities Commission has proposed the sale of a large piece of land near Orlando International Airport.

OUC’s Governing Board on Sept. 13 will consider a purchase agreement of roughly 165 acres over three parcels east of Wetherbee Road to San Francisco real estate investment trust (REIT) Prologis LP (NYSE: PLD) for $44.81 million, or $271,575 per acre.
OUC got the property in 2007 from Southern Co. - Jetport LLC as “part of a settlement and termination agreement for a power generation development project that was planned to be at the Stanton Energy Center,” according to the agenda item.
